I think it’s a small Baracuda? I hope you can see it in the picture ok.
The head sure resembles one!
Looks like one ,looking at the fins.

Either a barracuda or a kingfish
(king mackerel) ? I was considering wahoo as well, but the dorsal fins
are much different from the other
two and don't fit/match the photo !

It certainly fits the profile!
Where's this at? Sure looks like a barracuda. Mouth full of teeth.
I’m in Florida. We have a marina here at my condo complex. I’m on the east coast just north of Stuart Florida.
Yeah, the cudas pretty much prefer warmer waters. We used to catch a lot of em over in the Marshall Islands. Parts of em could be toxic because they prey on fish that prey on coral eaters and it builds up as you go up the food chain. You got to know how to butcher them properly so you avoid the bad parts. Other than that, they're delicious.

Barracuda. Went diving in Mexico one time and had a couple swim right up to my mask / faceplate. Just staring. Scary because I didn’t know whether to move or not. Finally they swam off. Those teeth are big up close...lol
Very cool photo! You were at the right place...right timing! I would vote barracuda as well.

Those east coast cudas get way bigger then our west coast ones.
East coast cuda's are maybe a different species than the Pacific ones?
The ones we were catching in the Marshalls were pretty good size, like 4 feet or so, some even larger.
