I asked a game warden and he said great big dough balls. I figure he might know !

Have you actually seen / held a Bullet ? It’s a $100 reel. All metal gears and ball bearings. Not like anything they have sold before.
I had points on a credit card to spend so I splurged on one. I have other baitcasters and spinning combos, and I keep some spincasters for the wife and knock arounds. I have caught a 2 lb walleye, small catfish, and some sunfish. I have to say it works perfectly. It casts good distance with light jigs and rigs. Definitely a faster retrieve with 5.1 to 1. I know it’s China, but so are 90% of everything else. It doesn’t feel at all like a 33 or other zebcos. I like it for light weight lures where your covering a lot of water. So far I haven’t experienced a problem. It’s more than I would have thought I would spend, but with the recent trade in promotion and point on my card, it was worth a try. I would buy it again.
Sometimes it’s just easier to use an old school spincaster. Except this doesn’t seem to be old school. 5.1 to 1 ratio. 8+1 bearings. Anyone else tried one ?
I actually broke an ugly stick about 4 inches back from the tip. I cut the rod off square with a dremel. Then I cut the rod back where it would slide inside at the next eye down. Glued it together and it’s hardly noticeable. Rod is still very useable.
Old True Temper Bronson 63 ??
I have a Berkeley trout spinning rod. It’s a budget rod, but with a little Shimano with 2 or 4 lb line it casts great. Lest than $50.
I have an iBobber. It works just fine. It’s Bluetooth so you’re not getting a signal back if you cast it 50-75ft out. 30 ft is good range. Good deal for the price.
Oklahoma is stocking these this year.
I have a Berkeley ultralight trout rod ($40 ). I put a Shimano FX 200 rear drag from eBay($15). 2-4 lb line.
Lake Murray state park is a short drive. Texomaland not far either. Don’t know about anything in Tishomingo.
Catch and release area seems very good now. Also at the low water bridge area. A couple of campgrounds, no cost, no hookups. FCFS. Stop into Scotty’s for the latest info. Great bait shop.
It’s probably the best place in the area right now. Probably 20,000 rainbow have been stocked this season. I have only been a couple times this season, but caught some both times.
