Finally, a decent sized catch! I hadn’t been catching much at this little pond in my town, but I got lucky last night. Caught six altogether, mostly around 2 lb. This one was 2.98. Can I just round that up to 3?

Nice, now you know ware to go. Keep catching!

Does the bigger boat have a Mercruiser I/O? I did some work for a friend and wanted to GIVE me a boat with that motor. He said it wouldn't run right. It had aluminum heads V8. I tried to get it to spin but if the impeller does not bring in water the heads are shot. Just asking...

Has Chevy 5.0 with Omc bravo out drive. Impeller is in out drive and should pump water regardless. If you run with no water impeller will burn up quick and impeller housing is plastic so it will melt.

Hey neighbors, I’m in Canandaigua, shore fishing mostly in ponds. Always looking for new spots - Sandy Creek looks like a good one, even without a boat. SV, good luck getting the boat back in the water and Rndn from Dansville, my boyfriend and I ride the motorcycle through your neck of the woods on a regular basis. It’s always good to see local people on the Stage. 😁

Thanks, I drive through your neck of the woods every day on my way to work in Pen Yan. Good luck tight line’s!

Two year's ago my brother and I were bank fishing on the Yadkin River and it was a beautiful day after a week of heavy rain, river was swift, boaters taking their turn to launch their boats. One guy backed onto the ramp and removing tie downs, plug checking etc when a couple couldn't wait their turn, backed into the river boat and truck and drowned both as we stood there in shock. This isn't the first time I have witnessed boat launchers bad manners turn tragically. So remember this when you're about to launch a boat.. take the time to do so safely. Check your plugs, prime your fuel, check your hitches and chain's and have a plan B if thing's go wrong.

Karma stings , I had a guy cut in front of me pulled out of line and past me and 3 others. He was ready he had straps off and winch unhooked. To bad it was a roller trailer with a 24 ft boat. At the top of the ramp he touched the brakes and his boat rolled off and onto the concrete ramp 4 ft short of making it to the water. Crazy !!!
