I’m in Key Largo on the water Fred didn’t really bother us much little windy with the gusts and lots of rainfall. You won’t have any problem finding a backwater guide. Go on the internet and call the guides let them know what type fish your wanting

Dolphin fish mostly run in the Keys late May and June but am be caught all year. Look for weed line and flouting items. Off shore 200ft to1200ft. I’m Key Largo about starting 7 miles out. I would be nervous in 18ft boat. Weather and seas can change quickly.
