The free descenders are only for the gulf coast I called they got the money from the oil companies spilling into the gulf.
There is no time this is my spot. If the person is there then it’s their spot for now. Sorry it’s just the way it is. I have gone to a spot my granddaddy gave me numbers to. That doesn’t make it mine. I have been offshore going to a spot I have fished for years not a boat within 100 yards. I stopped and started fishing. The boat 500 yards away came by yelling at me saying I’m right in the spot they have been drift fishing for two hours. If that’s the case they need to drop a flot or flag so that others know that. If they are on that big of a drift I promise you they are not going over the same ground. that’s why you drift. I can say beCause the person was very rude and cussing at me I decided they were drunk and there was no telling what there next actions would be. Very sad that money can buy nice boats but no common sense

Also note there are new fishing runs for reef fish to have a way to take your fish back down (Desender) if they are not to be kept check your local rules

Currently set for Two Days really this is a shame. What do you guys think. I’m in north Florida east coast and throw back and actual have to move local spots to get away from them this is sad look at the Gulf side really.

I fish northeast fla and last snapper days I went to one of my numbers and there were boats around but not where my numbers put me. I have a Rhodan so I anchored on the spot. After getting our rods down one of the other boats came up and started raising hell with me saying they could believe I stop right where they had been drift fishing for two hours. Really
Number 1. There was no way for me to know that they where drift fishing when I drift a area I’ll throw out a container to let others know that’s my main drift point
Number 2. I have never drifted anywhere for 2hours.
Number 3 if I pull up to a spot where someone is already there I’ll just go on to my next spot.
Number 4 I don’t need to get on top of you to get your numbers I can get that from my radar.
Number 5. If you haven’t caught your limit of one per person within
30 mins of stopping your no on good numbers
