Anybody fish opening day ? Trying to get a report , thanks

I know there were a few lakes open on Monday in Grant and Adams Co.. Haven’t seen any reports yet. You might check Alan Liere’s weekly fishing report at the Spokesman Review.

I am new to this site. I moved to AZ a decade ago, and miss the trout from time in Oregon & Cali. Any good tips for trout fishing here?? Where, when, what, etc? Gonna do some urban pond fishing, but nothing like the native trout. Need to get a good stock going. I miss eating trout several times a week, it gives me an unequalled power. It's Awesome for tryn to get into the training routine again. Thank you in advance to any replys. Stay safe & Healthy my friends.

Welcome to the stage. I’m in WA right now but normally I’m in Az for the winter. If it’s trout you’re after, you can try any of the city ponds, they stock trout from Oct - Mar. if you’re looking to getting away to east or northeast AZ thre are a bunch of lakes up that way also there’s always Lees Ferry near Page (usually as crowded as aWalmart Parking lot) also the little Colorado near Greer . One more place near Mesa is Salt River, You can also pay to fish on Reservation land. Hope this helps, Take care and good luck

Don’t want to see anybody killing fish unnecessarily. I thought a fish cannon system was in the works for Chief Joseph and Grand Coulee dams?

Returntonow.net Was reading an article about how hemp wood is stronger than oak and stumbled upon this article about Native tribe taking salmon from below Coulie Dam and transplanting them in the upper river. They are multiplying!

Great news, ocean run salmon on the upper Columbia. Not since 1939 with construction of Coulee dam. The Native Tribes still come to the River near Kettle Falls every year to pray for return of the salmon. Looks like it might be starting to work. Iknowthnewsibrightened my day

Wanting to do a trip up to LPO in the spring, does anyone have any tips on rv camping, best area to try for kokanee, and baits? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and God bless.

If you’re talking about Lake Pend Oreille, you might try a flasher or dodger with a pink or green hoochie or Mack’s Kokanee killer lures tipped with corn or grub. I’m in northeast Wa. That combo seems to work up this way. Hope it helps.

New guy, retired Air Force, Vietnam Vet looking for a fishing buddy up my way. Mostly fish lake Roosevelt (Columbia River) and tributaries for trout, walleye, kokanee and sturgeon. Have a boat and fish both conventional and fly fishing. Let me know if interested. Redband trout from the kettle River.
