I use power pro 30 lb trolling for walleyes. Works very well. Like any line when storing ,Keep out of sunlight. I also change line every two years. I pay 12.90 for 150 yards in Pittsburgh at Walmart world. I think a good price.

2 lb tip it line. Slip bobber. On bottom you have to have bait float for bottom. Fish will bite when stocked depending on when last feeding was at hatchery.

Trout your best bet to fish. Many lakes stocked for ice fishing(no ice this year) watch creel limits as they change with season. Pa lic with trout tag. May want Lake Erie tag also. 38.50$ wow. Line weight best at 4 lb. try different brands for one you like. Light to med rod and medium reel. Start the old school way with minnies, earth worms , wax worms , butter worms.
Pa fish and boat web site gives all info on where and when to fish.
I fish western and northwestern pa and northeast Ohio.

When using power bait ,trout swallow it a lot. If deep. Cut the line , close to the mouth of fish. Hook will rust out, but will keep trout alive. I have caught fish with another hook in it. I easily removed most of them. I use #12 hooks and close barbs. It helps. Try different techniques till you find one that works for you.

Kerry you fish way different than we do on Lake Erie tribes for steelhead.
What is a corky. ? You have a pic of one. May work here.
Also do you use a three way swivel ? I know your water is higher and faster than Lake Erie.
Thanks

There is still very little water in creeks. No big run of steelheads.
50 fishers fishing for 20 fish in a hole. Not a fun day. I have been sitting on the docks or land catching a few. Lake needs to cool down and rain is needed.
