You got a recipe you'd share for that pineapple fluff stuff? Sounds interesting.

Drain pineapple, mandarin orange, add mini marshmallows and sour cream. Wife rarely follows recipes so I can't give exact proportions.

Two weeks from now we'll be eating leftovers. Does anyone have a family tradition of eating anything other than turkey as the main course? And let's talk sides. You know, that disgusting combination of canned green beans and mushroom soup. Stuff like that. While we're at it, am I the only one on here who spatchcocks his turkey and cooks it on the grill?
Let's talk turkey!

Turkey roasted in a Nesco, stuffing (some done in the bird and some in a separate pan in the oven), candied yams, cranberry/orange relish, pineapple/mandarin orange fluff and pumpkin pie to top it off.

Today is one of those Special Days in my book and maybe the same for many more here on the stage.

It’s a day to say Thanks to those that we came home to that were there for us.

And a day to be Thankful that many of us came home and continue to believe in what this country stands for.

FREEDOM.

Amen

Dwight Yoakam still puts out some good old-school country sounds. I’m also digging Charley Crockett and Joshua Hedley. It’s good to hear some folks paying tribute to the original style. Love me some old school classic country.

That is my kind of country music.

I truly hope that someday I find a place to fish where all I can hear is nature. Our waterways are surrounded by noisy people.

I have fond memories of canoe trips in the Quetico-Superior wilderness area some 55-60 years ago when, after the first portage, you could go an entire week without seeing another human except for your family. The fishing was great too.

Well, at least it was for me. Cold fronts starting to stack up, and I was hoping to squeeze in another trip before winter. Air temp at launch was 29, water dropped to 44, and breezy. Slower bite, managing a few big Lake Trout… but most importantly, landed and release my personal best smallmouth weighing 7.3 lbs. Just a great way to cap off a really fun year here in Montana. Tight lines to all.

Great fish. Nice pics but water sure looks cold.

Honestly, I never opened a bible for over 60 years. Thought what I was taught in those 12 long years was the bible.

Boy did I have a lot to learn.

I don't do Instagram and use Facebook mostly to keep up with the grandkids. Read the bible daily. I find it refreshing.
