Years ago I was talking to a old Indian and ask him what he thought about Day Light Saving time. And as he slowly shook his head he told me, " only a white man would cut two inches off of a blanket and sew in on the bottom and think he had a longer blanket. "

Yrs ago I asked a congressman why did the politicians do this, his reply, "the children was waiting on the bus in the dark." So I asked if he ever got up at 6am, it is dark. He said 'NO'. A few days later I met up with him again, and he was all excited to tell me it was because of the farmers"! I asked him what are those two things in front of the tractor, called lights, used for? The real reason is they really don't have an answer, do you?

Supposedly it was to try to save fuel during the winter months. I don’t think that helped any and the people that started it are not around anymore so you probably won’t ever get the right answer

Our dogs are waking us up at 4:30 now instead of 5:30. Thanks to the time change. Coon hounds want to eat.

Time changes do stink but here's a question. If we had it one way year round, do you prefer longer days or light when you get up? Personally I'm most productive early in they day and drop off as the day goes on.

My 13yr old GSP gets me up at 4:30 for breakfast. She tried me at 3:40 on Sunday, but I wasn’t buying it. It may take awhile to get her accustomed to the change again.

My Blue Tick Hound was a rescue that was shot with bird shot and hit with a bat that crushed two vertebra. On meds that makes it have to go out or mess the house. I got to get up when it wines. The rubber shoe is to keep its stiff leg from slipping on the hars wood floors.

Just pick one and leave it that way.
