Cachuma problems! Thanks for the update, it used to be my favorite lake when I was a kid.
My Pop and I would travel up from So cal.and spend the weekend by ourselves. It was always good for a bag of blue gills and a few nice bass. Do you know if they still rent boats as I don't really want to take my boat re the mussels?
Thanks again
Great catch! We drove in late tonight to Loleta from So-Cal to cool down. I'm thinking that I should call this guy see if l can get out while I am here.
Tight lines to all. Thanks for sharing....
Mostly large mouth and stripers l'm going to Diamond Valley next Thursday and try it in the morning for a while to see how l do.
I will post if we connect
Decent fish, l am looking forward to fishing next Thursday after 4 months of heart problems. Wish me luck, thanks to everyone that posts l love it 💖 l
Dinks, but a good day with the conditions. Tight line my brother, l would rather fish Diamond valley and work hard for 3 or 4 fish that are always over 3 lbs
Enjoy, take the usual trout gear and you will have a great trip!
They are fun to catch and tasty to eat if take the time to go through the process to eat them.
You are my kind of fisherman. Enjoy!
Awesome day bouncin the bottom!
And yummy fillets also thanks for sharing!
DVL is touchy lately with the water coming up so fast. We fished the damns a week and a half ago worked hard for 4 fish a piece.
The smallest was around 3 lbs and the biggest pushed 6.
We took a break and fished the ladders and caught quite a few blue gills up to a pound and a half but I get tired of that pretty quick because to me it's catching and not fishing. And I would rather catch big fish.
They are tasty but just not my thing.
Drop shot with a TRD in the morning and Texas rig on the humps in 25ft of water in the afternoon.
I'm not sure how to post pictures but I will try. The only picture that I can get at is my wife's good fish three weeks ago.
Awesome, thanks for sharing!
