The carp looking fish was caught from Lake Limestone in Texas and the eel like fish caught in Florida- think it may be a hogfish? Not sure. Please pray for my friend from Iceland who caught the hogfish- he had a heart attack but is doing ok in hospital

I think the eel like fish is called a coronet fish. I used to catch small ones cast netting for bait. I didn't know they could get that big. If you search by the name of each one guessed; you might find a picture that matches.

Rogeruk:

First picture is a carp what type I don't know as I fish mostly salt water. The second one is a trumpet fish basically a large tropical fish, the third you got right a Hogfish AKA Hog Snapper this fish is actually a Wrasse. Very interesting fact on Hogfish they can change their sex to meet the demand for reproduction when the balance of sexes is out of sink:

Nice pictures thank you,

Looks to be a 'yellow carp'. Yellow blue, black, and the buffalo is all the common fish called carp. Gaspergoo is a carp, so is the black drum, (freshwater) I'm sure there are others.
