My friend Dave moved to Austin Texas and was in his back 40, and felt and used his device to get help and was told to move to a better location so they could send him help I think the dispatcher needs help more than Dave

Yep it's an old person thing. Many of us know exactly what you feel like and not even falling to relate.

What Jer said. We don't bounce like we did in our 20s. Might try topical CBD and/or Arnica, a tub soak with Epsom salts helps too.

Your right on that !!
What would it be like to be in our 20's again.!!!
Have a great weekend
Andy

Well I have one of those handy dandy tailgate steps. Deployed that.
Also have a handy dandy hold onto thing.
Decided I didn’t need to deploy that.
Mistake.
Stepping up. Leg gave out and next thing I know I’m landing flat on my back in the parking lot!! Good thing it was 14 degrees. Any colder and it might have really hurt.
Getting old I guess.
My back was tight to begin with . Now I’m all jammed up.

Took inventory of what wasn’t hurt, made it to my feet and got the flashlight after deploying the hold on thing.
Who ever designed that should get a bonus !!
My flashlight came out of my tool pouch and rolled... (show quote)

Sorry to hear that Ben, that is Never a Good thing as We Don’t Bounce Well Anymore!!

"You folks":have mentioned "bouncing" more than once, in this thread... It's NOT "bringing back pleasant memories"; for me... When I was 16 years old, the Summer between 11th & 12th grades, of Highschool; a bunch of us "Knuckleheads", from 2 or 3 different towns nearby, were down at a swimmin' hole of a creek (¿Nashua River?) up in MA...We MIGHT'VE been "just north of the border" & barely into NH. There was a "Tarzan Rope" up in a tree... Witnesses claim that I bounced as high as their shoulders!!! {That was the 2nd year in a row; that I showed up for the first day of school, ON CRUTCHES!!!}

Ouch! I'm sorry to hear this, Ben. I'm over here having sympathy pain...or maybe it's just normal pain... Ditto to what Marion and Kandy said about Arnica and the Epsom salt soak. I hope you're un-jammed soon.

I took a slip and fall 2 years ago and broke my wrist. The break was so close to the end that they thought they might have to amputate my hand. Luckily a specialist was able to put a plate on it and save it. However, I have osteo-arthritis in my wrist now and only have partial use of my left hand. At least I still have it. The worst part was the pain after the surgery because the doctor only prescribed 3 days worth of pills. He said the feds were cracking down on all the doctors for over-prescribing and so now I guess they under-prescribe to be safe. I was about out of my mind in pain after that third day for at least 3 weeks. Turns out my potassium and calcium were low and caused brittle bones.

I fell off my bicycle trying to ride on an iced trail. Landed on right shoulder, took me about 5 minutes to get up. Icy trails are not good for oldies.

Bummer Ben, Ya older is tough. Here's what I did, I took a 1 x2 cut it off little short of the legnth of my P.U box. Sent a screw through the 1x side with a 10 maybe 15 Deg angle (Point of the screw to Operator ) maybe an inch from the end. Let the head hang out a bit and the point the same. I can "Fish" most anything away from the front of the box, Both feet firmly on the ground. Don't take up much room in the box and works for me.
Hope the pain is short lived.

How are you doing Ben? Pain gets worse for awhile before you feel better.
Hopefully you are over the worst of it.

Penetrated is another excellent pain relief for sore muscle and injuries. I strongly recommend it. Hope your okay tomorrow, sometimes you hurt worse the next day. Take care.
