The day of giving is behind us now and as we bend over and hear our bodies creek and groan. The picking up that torn piece of wrapping paper or that tinsel before it gets caught in the vacuum, the memories of the preceding day make it all worthwhile.
How are you spending this day of rest?
Good one Plumb, when I had my hip surgeries I got one of those “extended grabbers” (for lack of a better term). Still use it quite a bit.

Bought 2 of them for picking up pine cones in NC that were everywhere on our property bk. Now here in this pea patch of a property no cones, but since the wife's surgery they have been very useful for almost everything that falls. Even adjust the drapes with it.
Gmon Plum n BK. That's what I feel like sometimes. The mess on the floor. It was fun watching the little ones shredding paper. Y'all have a nice day stay safe 🌄🌄

I wish it was an at rest day. Worked yesterday and on through the New Year. Kick back and relax for me today. I’ll cover for the rest of us. Merry Christmas.
No kids, no grandkids, no presents, no tree, no celebration yesterday. Just football with Bear and BIL. Nothing planned for today. Probably watch more football. Life goes on.

I’m headed into the shop, actually a pretty active day with customer’s getting their new fishing licenses and spending their Christmas gift certificates. We spool a lot of line and there’s remnants of line everywhere that you simply can’t see, I vacuum every Sunday and “those remnants” really screw up the beater bar on the machine!

Tinsel does the same darn thing. Had to tear down the vacuum twice yesterday and that is from left over tinsel on a tree that we had up last year. Haven't bought that crap in years.

Brother I use mine alot I get tired of cleaning vacuum. With a shop vac I don't have to unwind articles of clothing electric cords n a variety of other items 😂
You are right Grizz and it picks up pine needles just fine too
Relaxing day today. Maybe I'll call my brother and have him over. Would have had him in yesterday, but dinner wasn't at my house, not my call. Daughter was pretty well maxed out for space. Dining room table ran into the hall and across to the living room. Took dinner over to my neighbor who lives alone and doesn't have much family.around here. Made her a tiny little apple pie, first time I made one myself. Wife is the master pie maker.
