The day of giving is behind us now and as we bend over and hear our bodies creek and groan. The picking up that torn piece of wrapping paper or that tinsel before it gets caught in the vacuum, the memories of the preceding day make it all worthwhile.

How are you spending this day of rest?

I looked forward to see Andy on 60 minutes.

Hi FT. I may be back on the shopping trail. Bug found some items at Costco she really liked n wants a couple more. I told her we'd call n if available we'd go. The things I do for that woman n she doesn't even like me 😂😂. We brought a big box of food back from our dinner for our neighbor. She's around 90 but still very sharp. Her grandson lives with her but was there yesterday. Bug took it over to her when we got home. She was very happy. She has 5 daughters but they seem to always be busy 🥴. We keep tabs on her. 👍👍

That's so sad. My nephew doesn't go visit his dad, my brother on Holidays. Yesterday he was waiting for him to show while we were there at the home but he never did. sad.

We were up in Ct. with nephew so went to church with them. My neice runs the food pantry there so after church we helped unload all the donations from Trader Joe's. My goodness, there must have been 30 BIG boxes full of meat, vegetables, fruit and bread. My back is aching today actually from carrying it in off the truck. But there was actually too much stuff this time so they gave us a slab of salmon, a couple steaks and some bread. Will marinate and grill salmon outside tonight. Any marinade suggestions? Soy sauce and brown sugar?
Had no idea Trader Joe's was so nice. They donate every Sunday. Will shop there more often.
