Beautiful looking Brown haven't seen one that big in long time.!!!
Was out on New Melonies Saturday by the dam area l caught 8 Bass using the Ned rig set up.
Bass went from 1 to 2 lbs. The largest almost 3lbs.
I lost 3 when they came out of the water and threw the the hook off.
They are hitting Carwdad grubs color.
Good luck if any of you go to New Melonies , l'm going again this week.
Good luck and safe fishing
I'm waiting for my buddy to send me the pictures.
Sorry left my phone 📱 in the truck again 😅
I fish a lot of lakes but never fished lake skinner. I would like some one to meet me there that knows the lake and show me how to fish it. I would do the same for them at lake Perris i fish it a lot.

I'm heading to bass lake for three-day stay on Sunday. Looking forward to fishing a lake. Got trout n bass gear. Also taking some chicken livers n plan on buying anchovies. Any tips TIA.
Was a good time at the lake, bass are biting good by the pines marina some caught couple trout at evening time too.. Trout seem really pressured from the derby over the weekend. Even locals told me they where getting skunked while trolling when in the past they would get there limit each time out. Needless to say I as well was skunked. Did get a bite off the pines dock. My swivel broke as I was trying to net the bass. Guess that's why it was inexpensive. Lake was nice and calm during the week. Whether couldn't been better.
Forgot to mention most trout caught where east of the sheriff tower in main channel. Fish on......

Hi! Have you ever fished at Shasta lake ? I see you go fishing out of HMB. I’m right up the street !
Hi Tom ! Hmmmm Shasta you say ? We will be houseboating there May 17-20 and have absolutely no idea what to use or where to find the fish there. My older brother THINKS he knows how to fish . My bf has no idea what he’s doing and I’m like floating around holding my pole with my little bobber bobbing up and down. Will you be on Shasta around that time ? If so drive by and say hey !!
Hi Andy ! Do you know how or where to catch fish in Shasta lake ?

Hey SA, you need to PM Mitchfish and ask him bout fishin Shasta. He lives in Texas now but use to fish Shasta all the time before he moved a few months ago.
What type of fish and bait do you use, and can you catch from the banks? At lake Berryessa
What are you fishing for??where are you fishing all kinds of different bait to use!!

Hey all. I spent opening week up and down the walker River in Ca. 6 days fishing only 8 trout caught. Water was very clear and very little snow melt. Not complaining. Just love being out there. Thats good enough. Just wondering if anyone knows how the conditions are as of now. Normally a full day of fishing on the river will average 3 to 5 trout a day. Also spent two days fishing the carson river. Only 2 fish caught. Fish on everyone!
