That is so true. Was a beautiful day my wife was fishing with me today. Couldn’t have been any better that that.

A suggestion for you. Can you folks flipflop the post. Put the newest one at the top as they come in. This way we won't have to scroll through all the old ones.
Take a look at the title of the post. At it's right you will see an arrow in parenthesis. Hit that and it will take you to the latest post and you skip all the rest.
Thanks Spirit. Don't see a parenthesis with arrow
Hello all, new to the site and fairly new to CA (moved to Fresno last July). Just got my boats moved down, registered and on the water the last couple of weekends. Took the bigger boat to San Luis, hoping for stripers (using umbrella rigs) but no joy. Took the smaller boat to Fresno Slough Sunday, a couple of large mouth and one small striper, the area was weeded in and left limited fishing. Having withdrawls from my WA salmon fishing days, posting a couple of pics for your enjoyment. I grew up in the midwest, so bass/striper/crappie fishing are good for me, just need to learn how/where/when here. I would also like to get out for some rock fish/lingcod, the bigger boat is ocean capable - it has spent many days on the Puget Sound. Looking forward to posting some CA pics, once I am successful. Any hints on stripers in the valley?
Welcome BBB to the stage. Quite a few fisherman up your way, so help will be coming soon.
Those are some really nice fish!
Welcome back
You have servile lakes by you that have good bass fishing and trout , Crappie fishing.
I live in Modesto and I love to fish with my boat at Don Pedro, New Melonies and Tullock lake and there are more lake in the same area .
Very good fishing in all of them and they are deep lakes. You can take your larger boat 🚢 and troll for trout and the inlock salmon that salmon that they have in the lakes.
Their are a great bunch of guys on the stage here.good fishing 🎣

Have any questions text me I'll try to put you in the right path.
Meant to say welcome to the stage.

If you don't mind the drive up to the Bay Area, striper fishing has been off the hook around Vallejo and on the Napa River. Saw1's been out on his boat with several members - 30 or so one day and 70 or more a couple of days after that. Come on up and catch you some! Welcome to the stage and thanks for the photos.
