Are you serious? You live in paradise and fish with that junk? Please tell me where you fish so I will avoid and never have to see that
Don't come to Wisconsin. Some here don't have your high standards.
There are (or were) a number of multi-piece rods available. The Hardy Smuggler came in 7 or 8 sections and would fit in a briefcase. Orvis had something similar, as did Sage. The old Fisher Rod Co. had a number of "travel rods" and actually made them for other companies. If I'm not mistaken, Fisher made both the Orvis and Hardy blanks. With glass-to-glass ferrules there is little or no difference in the rod's action.
I used to carry a collapsible pole in my road king bags until balance and the doctor restricted me to a cage. I bought an Eagle Claw and refitted it with good eyes, properly applied and rapped. I then put a quality Shimano spinning reel and 17 lb. smoke fire line on it ( I would use 30# high vis green braid in this modern age). I traveled and fished all over the country west of the Mississippi with it, including salt water. If you can't bring a balanced arsenal, then it is all about the versatility of the reel. A water weightable float and a 1.5 to 3 inch tube or curly tail on a 1/16 to 1/4 jig will catch about anything from trout in a stream to ling cod off a jetty. It also does fine in the surf for perch if the surf is not to big. Other items I had were a 2" silver and black fat floating rebel, purple 8 inch floating worms and a few different size cast masters. My ground tackle box consisted of 1/4 and 3/8 Texas rig type bullet baits, size 6 bait hooks, size 1/0 salmon hooks, and a few plastic worm hooks, an assortment of reusable split shot, and two sizes of red and clear floats with the surgical tube in the center to partly fill with water, 20,12 and 6 pound leader, (mono then, fluorocarbon now) a couple round ball weights in 1/2 and 1 oz. and my Leatherman and a hand trowel in zip lock to dig and carry bait. Don't forget plastic bags if you keep fish. Fish really mess up hard bags (trust experience). Changes I would make now are adding 3 and 6 inch Yamamoto wacky worms and a bag of Gulp alive 2 inch sand worms in double sealed bags. I would probably also add a relatively small square bill and a Flicker shad in size 5. Remember It is all about a good or very good reel when going compact.
Take up fly fishing, almost all the rods are 4 piece and u can spend anything you want in gear. D

First question, what kind of bike? I have gone with Kawasaki and Honda. Regular motorcycle or Cafe racer? My rides were regular type road bikes with a back rest. A 2 piece pole and bungee cord secures it nicely. I had nylon saddle bags for equipment. Always had enough room for gear, clothes and a tent for weekends out and about.

Hey everyone I am looking for recommendations on a collapsible pole that will fit on a motorcycle. I know a lot of the telescopic poles tend to be garbage so not really sure what I should be looking for. Is there a good quality multi piece pole people recommend(3-4 pc)? not needing a do it all pole but something I can catch a trout or panfish on will suffice. Thank you in advance for any recommendations

I e had a number of the telescopic rods, and even a 5 piece in a nylon bag with both a spinning & fly reel. They worked just fine for a number of years, and they were packed in on Horse’s with a saddle bag or two and caught a bunch of high mountain rainbow and Easter took trout. They don’t last forever, but are relatively affordable and work just fine. It’s still fun fishing, and isn’t that the objective?
diawa Minnie cast 4 piece rod and reel
Seems ya been smokin' too ?
The guy was looking for advise, not jokes.
Others have given excellent sugestions.
I would add mine IF a price range for
rod and reel was made.
Forget the fly rods.

No, but when you get to your pond cut yourself a nice Willow sapling and wrap your line on it. When finished just take your line and throw the pole in the pond, then hit the pipe a couple times for the ride back
Whatcha got in that pipe. 🤪

I know that I mentioned this, in another thread, within recent memory... I had one of the "Telescopic variety" of fishing pole, several years ago. ... IF anyone chooses to buy one of those... Be very SURE to NOT get 1/2-toasty and decide that you are actually holding "Like Skywalker's light saber" ... Mine got stuck in the open position and in attempting to close it back down, the thin metal tubing it was made of, FAILED. Unrepairable. Just add alcohol!!
