Hey everyone I am looking for recommendations on a collapsible pole that will fit on a motorcycle. I know a lot of the telescopic poles tend to be garbage so not really sure what I should be looking for. Is there a good quality multi piece pole people recommend(3-4 pc)? not needing a do it all pole but something I can catch a trout or panfish on will suffice. Thank you in advance for any recommendations

No, but when you get to your pond cut yourself a nice Willow sapling and wrap your line on it. When finished just take your line and throw the pole in the pond, then hit the pipe a couple times for the ride back

Look for a cane pole. It's only about 12" long when collapsed. No eyelets and no reel needed. It's a very simple fly type rod that you attach your line to the tip. Your casting of course is limited to the length of line or tippit. Generally about 8-12ft.
Cast by holding your fly/baited hook in one hand and bend pole in order to place bait where you desire.

Years ago, I'd bought a 4-piece spinning rod/ reel from K-Mart... Can't remember what brand it was, but, it came in a wee little plastic "suitcase". It worked well. It must've sprouted some legs of it's own, 'cause it's been M.I.A. for a while. I'm going to look online, 2C if I can see one like it.

I've got 3 of these and I've got 1 that's med - heavy that I fish with every time I fish. Buy a bottle of Gorilla glue tho you'll need it. The line guides come loose. Just saying. For the price it's not bad or I wouldn't have so many.

Eagle-Claw has been making "pac" rods w/reel seats that accomadate spinning or fly reels for decades. I've used them numberous times. They are fine. There is a little more "bend" in them when you are casting or fighting a fish because of the 4 sections. Be sure to use a hard case. I've seen more of these rods with broken tippits than any other at garage sales

Okay, if I understand the question, for for TROUT, may i humbly suggest something like this. I have carried an Aquavit 8ft 4in #6 4 piece fly rod, with a System Two 56-l reel in this case practically everywhere. A couple of dry flies in a small container and you should be good to go. However, the really important question is, What brand of Motorcycle?
