I buy all my gear from Tackle Warehouse! Rods, reels, lures etc... What I like about TW is the in depth description of all the products and the numerous reviews on each product. Also, TW has an incredible return policy. If you don’t like a certain product, it’s faulty, or you just want to exchange it for a different size, color or action, they deliver all their products with a return form and a UPS free return shipping sticker! Absolutely nothing to loose!

Have had good experience with Tackle Warehouse.

Ya know what? I'd simply check a few tackle store, including Walmart to see if I could find a rod I like. 35 mi to the nearest store for me so I look as I can Bought two 6'6" Berkley Cherrywood med actions and love them. Use then for Catfish and would work well on Flounder I think. Used to fish Long Island Sound as a kid for Flounder and we just used our spinning rods, trout rods. I envey you having access to Flounder. Some here in Oregon on the coast but it's a five hour drive!

There's your answer. If I weren't absolutely certain that what I want is what will be with me on the water... I ain't got that kind of time and money to be fiddlin' around with trying to save a few bucks.

Was looking for a light spinning rod for flounder in the bay this season....so i check Tackle Direct and they have a sale on a Diawa spinner..great price...etc....Medium rod, fast action...sounds like just what i need. Rod got here last night....has all the flexibility of a telephone pole.

Good rod , just not for what i wanted to use it for....lesson learned...gotta hold it and see how it feels before buying. Wasnt expensive, and i wii use it for other things, so im not complaining, just gotta buy another one now.

Internet great i guess for lures and things but i think ill stay away from rods and reels on there
Was looking for a light spinning rod for flounder ... (show quote)

Go to a sporting goods and try it out and then go home and order it on line... works for me...🐟on

Support you local business bait and tackle stores. Keep your business in your community. On line is a last resort for me!

You know what Captain, I agree with you 100%. Especially now with a lot of local stores barely hanging on. I try to do all my business at a local Academy Outdoors, but they hardly ever have what I need so I go to our Walmart. They have everything I’m looking for at great prices. Thank you Sir.
