Larry, not to drag this post on forever, but I ran across this list of dangerous ugly fish. Checkout the little minnow looking fish. This one will make you think twice before you wade fish again.

Ahh! The Monkfish. Poor man's lobster. It has about the same texture as lobster but the taste is not as good as real lobster to me.

I donโ€™t know if I could prepare and eat a fish that ugly. Lots of those ugly fish are listed as edible but not for me. ๐Ÿคฎ

If I had caught that strange looking thing I would have gone to great extreams to keep it alive and purchased an aquarium just to keep it in. That fish looks like it was designed by a committee !

I also suspect they had all been drinking heavily !

I don't need an ugly fish to entice me to drink heavily. LOL! I do pretty well at that occasionally all on my own. Jack, neat, please.

But, I have caught an ugly woman while drinking heavily before.

Sorry to hear about your ugly woman, I hope that you cut her loose when you realized what you had caught!

Larryโ€™s fish still reminds me of my ex m-I-l.

Does this fall under the precept;
"I've never gone to bed with an ugly woman, but I've woken up with a few !" (?)

Heavy drinking is why that 'dog'
you saw as you came in turned into 'fox' by closing time !

Just sayin ' !

Now I would get banned for saying that...oh well good call...
By the bye those suckers are edible...have two very good white meat fillets...flesh prior to cooking is slightly off white but turns white after being cooked...
Goes grreat with cold beer...
