Hello Larry M, I would say you can name it anything you want to. I was in Nicaragua in a remote Guerilla strong hold. All month a birds identity baffled me. I had to know the name to enjoy it during my "age of enlightenment". After a couple of weeks I finally found a little girl that knew what it was. She and her friends alll aughed as they told me it was a "Yiou loco grengo. Es un pájaro lindo" (pretty bird you crazy gringo). For years I have applied this new nomenclature during my birding expeditions fo fins and feathers I could not identify. Following this line of socratic reasoning I would call the fish a
" Un pez feo y no te lo llevas a casa. Solo su madre amaría este pez" ( a ugly fish and do not bring it home).
