I agree with spiritof27 a leather man is a great gift, also maybe you could find a pocket fisherman for him. Tight lines.

Not a fisher. Husband is. His birthday is coming up & I have no clue what to get him. I want to get him something awesome that he can’t live without or something that he can take with him everytime he goes out on the water. He normally fishes out of lakes here in Oklahoma. He likes to catch catfish, crappie, bass. Whatever he can. Mostly on the shore but he’s looking at buying himself a little boat. What can you guys recommend, if anything? Thanks!

Be his new fishing partner, that will be a gift that keeps on giving.

How you doing Cubsfan? I’m on the outskirts of Lehighton, Pa. I was down in Destin a few years back and it is beautiful there,

You cant go wrong with a Bass Pro shop gift card ! I don't know of any fisherman who wouldn't love that.

I totally agree but you'll have to remind him he has it when he's hitting the sporting goods. I have an $80.00 gift card from July (Birthday) I forget I have. DO NOT TRY TO BUY HIM ANYTHING; you'll waste money and be wrong. Mike

Yes it was Jeremy. But it was just a bow, no Saran Wrap.

A little honey statically applied would increase both surprises. Mike

Sounds like he wants to buy a little boat.
I guess it depends on if you can afford to buy one.

There is a fold up kayak for $350.00, no shipping tucktec foldup kayak.com. I just ordered one. Mike

My wife was in the same dilemma years ago. 25 years to be exact. She decided to fishing with me and I thought everything I know and now she is my fishing buddy and often out fishes me. And like you asked. She is something I can’t live without.

Great idea, go for that songbird. Mike

May I recommend that you take a trip to cabelas or bass pro shop or any good outdoor sports shop you may have in your area and get a nice size tackle box and fill it with whatever is used most in your area. Get some hooks, sinkers, bobbers, extra fishing line, etc.

Well, this is personal and I don't know how old you two are. But how about producing him a son who will be his fishing partner for the rest of his life? Just sayin...RJS
