Free fishing license and gun permit to anyone over 65 in Connecticut.
If you’re missing a limb you can get a free fishing license also.

Not a gun permit Mark, but a small game hunting license.
Freshwater/Saltwater/All water/and Small game hunting are all free 65 and older.
You still have to pay for a Trout stamp, and any hunting tags for Deer, Turkey, etc.
Pistol permits have no discount.

You're welcome Mark. I believe that they did take open carry away as of January 1st.

Yeah, ain't that the truth.
Had we bought gold with the 10 to 12 K then it would be worth 600 K now.

We have nothing in California, except I get a reduced fee for a disabled vet.
TEXAS, HOWEVER, offers ANY disabled Vet a free Combo Hunt/Fish license. Just have to be 50% or greater service connected disability. You don't even have to be a resident of Texas.

Hi Saw. I bought my Oklahoma lifetime combo fishing & hunting license well over 35 years ago for $350. It has been a tremendous bargain. When my wife turned 65 she received a free lifetime hunting & fishing license from the state. Yes, it's nice to get something back after years of paying but a fishing license was never expensive & was worth every cent. I do enjoy fishing in Texas as I don't need a license but I'm sure a lot of senior Texan's enjoy fishing in Oklahoma for the same reason. More states should have reciprocal agreements like Oklahoma & Texas. Take care brother!

Too bad about not having lifetime hunting license in your state. I enjoy hunting & I hunt just about everything in our state. It's nice to never give a thought to buying deer or turkey tags or a fishing license. I do buy federal duck stamp & now that Oklahoma has a bear season I must buy that tag. Lifetime combination license keep going up & are now around $800 which is still a great bargain. Now days when a resident turns 65 they can get the lifetime combo license for free. Tight lines
