Here in Wisconsin the fishing license fee for 65 and older is $7 and the small game hunting license is $9 for 65 and up. They do not offer a discount on the combination of the 2, so that would still be $60. Then, of course you have the added fees for trout stamp, sturgeon stamp, large game such as deer have their added fee, as does turkey.

The nice thing about the combo license offered in Texas is it comes with ALL your deer and turkey tags.

Wish California offered that. 😠👎

I hear you Saw! I've bought a ca. Fishing license every year for at least 50 yrs now with average price of around $50.00/yr! So that's about 2500.00 total! I'm only 10% VA disabled so I get no discount for that. California needs to wake up and treat their veterans and old folks better!

In Michigan, at 65 your license is 10.00. Everyone else is 26.

In wv after you reach 65 there is a one time fee of $25 for senior license and it covers fishing plus trout stamp and hunting and all tags deer turkey and bears. It also allows you to hunt in all youth season. This year annual resident hunting and fishing license and my tags cost me $50.

Free fishing license and gun permit to anyone over 65 in Connecticut.
If you’re missing a limb you can get a free fishing license also.

WOW. Ya gotta jump through hoops and pay around 200 bucks a year for a CCW permit here in California.
Not positive if it's EVERY year but at least initially. ☹👎

We in Oregon are a bit jealous of your low pricing. I don't recall the exact figure for this year, but ~$110++/year for General Angler license, salmon/steelhead tag, two-pole add-on, two different "Watershed" (Columbia and Rogue basins)tags, and "Clean Boat" tag (included with boat registry of motorized boats of any type) even for an "un-mototorized" canoe or kayak or raft.
I will be 80 before I have 50yrs of "residence"....only 10yrs to go !...can't wait !...lol.

That’s prohibitive. Right up there with motor vehicle rates. A lot of things do t make sense. In Connecticut you don’t have to register or have a drivers license for a motor scooter under 50cc but I need to register my 16 foot canoe IF I put an electric trolling motor on it.

We have nothing in California, except I get a reduced fee for a disabled vet.
TEXAS, HOWEVER, offers ANY disabled Vet a free Combo Hunt/Fish license. Just have to be 50% or greater service connected disability. You don't even have to be a resident of Texas.

Maine also. And mine came with 2 deer tags!
