Luckily I haven't been stuck badly with a hook, but have lightly stuck myself many times, antibiotic ointment and a bandaid usually takes care of the issue, like previously stated if it starts to look bad in anyway, go see a doctor. Tight lines! If you do decide to quit fishing, I'll take any of your gear. Lol

It probably comes as a shock to those with deep fears, haunting worries, debilitating phobias and gripping obsessions that so many people just don't share their feelings and mostly don't give a shit. They must be very lonely. I find that that somewhat sad.

I'm with y'all. Headin out Sat to go troll for stripers (one p) . Don't want any of the 2p kind. That would definitely be catch and release. And you might catch something you couldn't release without medical attention.

put some clear skin first use alcohol on stab wound then some peroxide the next day finish up the following day with a brush on clear skin .then get on with your life .your making a mountain out of a molehill still worried get tetanus shot later ,& go catch some fish.

ps always I mean always carry a small first aid kit in your boat a little 6by5in. zipper first aid pouch & they don't take up much room or make your own with a large baggie you just never know ?

seen bill dance on tv take a hook out watched him do it. I had a Smithwick rogue jerkbait 3 treble hook set up hooked in both my hands , it was a real windy day at a fishing tournament tied it on dropped it to start to cast wind caught it a front treble in index finger back treble on other hand in the baby finger , had fellow angler in the back of boat take both out in less than 5 min, he had never taken a hook out of anyone before told him what to do , poped right out both hooks it bled a little kept on fishing . finished tournament
