Boat I hate to keep asking questions but I need to ask one more. How was the water. Was it muddy, stained etc.? Thanks for all of the help.

Bill the farther up the lake we went the more stain it got. Fairly normal from the park on down. Is it Higgins Ferry Park at the end of Mitchell road? Can't remember. Anyways that were we started.

Hey Bill,
Well it was tough the other day, but did manage to get a few small ones and one decent one 4 lb. Only was able to get anything on the old ball and chain, but Green was the choice color for sure.
Heading back in the morning.

Do you live up on the lake area? Was suppose to go tomorrow butt they upped the rain chance. I would go fish in the rain but I have to have a spinal injection Friday due to some excessive pain. If I am sick they will not do the injection. Hopefully the weather will clear up after this weekend. They are calling for some major storms coming up from the South and taking over the state. Maybe next week will be nice and the bass will be calling. If you get to go please give me any info you gather please. Hopefully I will be able to tell you everything you need to know. If you can remember the water temp so we both (you & I) will know where to go. Water temp will be the key to know how far in the creek to go. The cooler the further back to check. Where do you put in? I take the 2nd Clanton exit and use the state park landing. Nice place with a good ramp with several piers. Don't catch them all, save me some. lol

Sounds like we need to have a get together on Mitchell. Very good small(ish) lake. There are several under water bridges. One on the main lake towards the damn and another in several creeks.

Bill I just had those back shots a month ago, for the second time. They gave me two at the same time this time and I went fishing the next day. I slept most of the day the day of the shots because of the sedative the gave me. Now if you're a real man or an idiot they will give you the shots with out the sedative. If you are having the same thing, there's nothing to them. The only problem is that they didn't help much. Anyway good luck on yours.

No I don't. I am still trying to figure it out. They could make it easier for us to do that.

Hey gentlemen well I have decided to fish in the ABT open at launched at beezwax.
Not because I have caught a ton of fish, but you guys did help me since it had been so long being on Lay.
I do thank you, now that I have retired I am going to fish more often.
If I come up with a great combination I will let you know, right now I have a couple items that seem to be spot on, I will share after the tournament.
I am going 3 days this week since the water temps should be even lower than last Friday.

Thanks again
Danny

Good luck Danny, are you talking about fishing a tournament on Lay? I am going to try and go to Mitchell on either Wed. or Thurs. I'll let you know who, what, and where I catch them. With Lay and Mitchell connected it should give you some info to add into you thought process. Hopefully nothing will happen and I will get to go and get on some fish. Either way good luck and be careful.

Hey Bill, yes at Lay. The ABT is having their open on sat the 9th.
After Wednesday I will not be on here until after the tournament. Just due to tournament rules I'm not able to ask anyone for information.
Thanks I'll let you know how things go.

No problem. You will not have to ask it will be posted on here as usual. Your not asking and I am not supplying. Good luck. Pull up the local fishing info before then but don't believe everything you read. Just info. Looking forward to see how you do.
