I hate it when fishing is kinda slow and you finally start reeling them in and someone comes and invade your space. They can get so close that you can feel their presence. I think I know how it feels in your situation. Good thing there is plenty more space. Ha! Ha!

sees or has a bit well fishing (muskie) my rule you get one cast for the muskie then it's game on. Walleye is different for
me when lindy rigging I get a bite I let lots of line out tell someone I'm going to check there line hand them my
pole bingo they just caught a fish. I'm a good captain, I live on Leech lake (112,000 acres) in northern mn. I'm

One of my best days surf fishing, I hooked a big bluefish. A young kid was watching me, so I flipped the bail open and asked him to hold my pole while I checked my bag. As I handed him the pole, I flipped it closed without him seeing. He yelled "You've got one on!" I replied, "Well bring him in." He brought it in and ran up and down the beach showing everyone his fish. Hooked more than fish that day!

That is so inspiring. Don’t understand others that think a missed fish is theirs. As said before I would enjoy my other fisherman to try for it.

I'm ways looking fir a kid that I can help catch their first fish. I've done it on the beach lots of times, including one where I caught the kids line and put one of my fush on it, alive and well.

You said it all Jimmy.
I said it before but I'll say it again my best fish was Brodys 31" 5 lb tiger muskie.
My best buck also Brother
We hunted together for 5 yrs before he decided he didn't want to go anymore.
He got 4 deer in those 5 yrs.
I never took a shot. I was there to teach n make a backup shot if needed.

Got more excited for Brody than I ever did for myself.
He took that scruffy 5 pt did weight 127lb which around here is a good deer It's Always about the kids 👍😊🎣

If this kind of action is not acceptable on your boat you need to state it to your partner while still at the launching. It's also a good time to tell your partner what coves, points and brushpiles are yours. Let them know the size limits they are allowed to catch.also clearly explain the penalties for breaking the captains rules. Tell them what baits are not allowed for them. Have them read and accept the rules you have written on the contract before they sign it. But most of all, enjoy your day on the water with your legally binding partner

Love it CRC! I don't even understand this post! The person that taught me how to bass fish made it clear. If either one of us misses a fish, the other guy needs to get his lure in there ASAP! I've passed that same lesson along to anyone fishing on my boat... without a contract! Lol

Anyone else have a partner like this?

My Grandson 🪝 hooked into a catfish, but it threw the hook near the shore
I moved over to his spot and made a cast.
Then I remembered this post. I reeled in the line and moved further down the way.
Sometimes you really can teach a old dog new tricks.
Commander Bell out 👍
