I think the bluegill is probably the hardest fighting fish, in freshwater at least. Can you imagine catching a 10 pound bluegill

Have given that subject a lot of thought, redear are fighters.
So are wipers some lakes around here if your fishing with chicken livers and you get a couple taps usually channel cat, if your pole heads for the water wiper.
Lonestar lake just south of Lawrence fantastic fishing.

My dad gave me a whippen when I was a bad boy! The wiper was cleaning the eye 👁 balls of a rain fall that was soaking my white cotton t shirt! Back in them days the wipers whet up and down, not back and forth!
