What fights better, snook or largemouth bass pound per pound?
Today me and my buddy got into an argument over which species fights better, I think snook are much stronger even pound per pound. What do u think?

The saltwater fish is going to be much stronger. Not even a close battle, snook by a mile.

I also enjoy snook fishing more than bass fishing, what about u?

Largemouth don't really fight that hard anyways. I'd rather hook into a smallmouth or a carp anyday.

Has your buddy caught both?

Snook is not quite as frenzied as bass when they bite but if you d be comparing tarpon to bass then I think you’d have a fair fight.

Are you joking? snook pull harder, jump just as well, and are much faster. Snook are much better fighters.

Loc: Lake Onalaska, Sunfish Capitol of the World!
I have never caught a snook but not many fish have more endurance than a salmon.
Largemouth Bass only fight for a minute or 2 and give up. Never caught a snook. But many tuna from bonita to large blue and yellowfin they with yellowtail would be my choice for best fight pound for pound.
I never fished for snook before so I can't compare the two,but I did hook a bass and I know it was over 5lbs biggest bass I ever caught it put up a pretty good fight!!
Perch on the right tackle are a fight.
Especially a Redear.
If perch got as big as some of the other they would out do a lot #/#
So are Croker/Hardhead They hit really hard for their size and fight good. Here in maryland they have to be 9 inch to keep them. Good eating also.
I like to eat fish, only thing that is better than catching them.
