This is why I fish only in early morning or late evening into the night. No weekends either. There's little respect for us true fisherman from those "entitled" SOB's.

As a rule on lakes near me that allows power boats or jet skis I take my kayak out of the water by 9:00. Just too dangerous . Mostly it’s the water skiers or non fishing huge power boats that ride around the lake not doing much of anything except annoying the heck out of everyone else. A lot lakes have a 10 mph before 9:00 AM . A highly school crew team was out in their scull practicing one afternoon when a jet ski in open water ran over the scull destroying and sinking it and sent 5 girls to the hospital (2 by helicopter ) I had jet ski literally cross the bow of my kayak about 20 feet away. It’s all before 9:00 AM for me

I know what you mean Hunterbill. I am well aware of the good old boy southern club. The knife would be used for defense not for the first punch. On that day and everyday I just keep on fishing and appreciating the Lord keeps me going to enjoy my surroundings and has given me the knowledge that he will handle it.

Couldn’t agree more! Many lakes suffer erosion issues because of these types of “recreational boaters”...

Really sad l see alot of kayakers fishing for stripers and black fish . I always slow and give them right away and as l do someone blasts between us. Evan at 530 am. Everybody's in a rush and can't enjoy this gorgeous weather we are having.

Oh my goodness I totally despise those boaters. Especially when i standing or someone else. Uggh or if we have kids with us. Annoys the heck out of me. One time i was baiting my hook. Well it could have been worse . i just got scratched and not pierced. Grrrr is all i have to say...
