It's going to be like fishing a new lake compared to the last three years. I don't know if the bass are going to move into all the isolated cover that will be available? All my way points are now 10 ft deeper. Spawning grounds will be completely different.
I'll be starting from scratch!
I remember some of the places I use to fish 20 years ago. We might fish some of them. However, a lot of them are around Lakeport.

For anyone else who is thinking of attending the M&G,I have 1 campsite that I had reserved left, this is for all 3 days, please send me a PM and I will get you set up,thank youπ£
I can still remember what it felt like when I was a boy and my bobber would start hopping and popping on the water. I feel the same thing now when my Senko gets picked up or the thunk on my jig or the sudden weight on my jerkbait/fluke or the blow up on my top water.

I fish the North Lake a lot more than I used to. I'm thinking if the conditions are right for better fishing North during the M&G, I might have to launch from the State Park. My boat burns about 15 gallons on a Redbud to Rodman and back trip.

Well, we'll figger it out. If we need to launch on the other end of the lake then we'll launch there.

Yep. IF I was bringin MY boat it wouldn't bother me to run the lake from one end to the other.
HOWEVER, I'm not bringin mine so I guess I fish and launch out of where ever the captian wants to launch from.

Hey buddy. My buddy George (the bus) who I was hoping to fish with him on his boat canβt make it He has a week long trip planned for Lake Almanor the following week and canβt fit both trips into his schedule. Iβm still planing on making it up to the M&G at least for the BBQ. Iβm not the most skilled LMB fisherman have all the rods and gear but would love to find a seat on a boat for a day or two. Just throwing that out there.
