I talked to the owner of Clearlake Cottages and Marina. He said that Clearlake is at FlOODstage currently a few hours ago. He said it really rose in the last week. By the looks of what I see on TV California has a little water for a year possibly. Sad to see the destruction of it all for sure.

Clear Lake may have a 5 MPH speed limit go into effect due to high water but, it will most likely not be in effect by May. We have water everywhere. These pics are from about a mile from my house. I have lived in Dunnigan for almost 2 years now and this culvert was always bone dry. Not even a mud puddle when it did rain. Today, they closed the road. Went over the Sacramento River yesterday at Knights Landing and it's 8 to 10 feet from the top of the levee! And that's the new levee, already on top of the old one.

Well good. Looks like there is a few years worth of water for everyone. Hopefully.

5 MPH speed limit? Is there a bunch aLOGators and debri floating everywhere? Is it possibly to reduce erosion during the high water? Thanks for keeping us all posted. Closed Roads are not always nice but at least someone is trying to keep the Public Safe.

All the HotRod Bass Boats in a Tournament will need to start 4 hours before their Race to the Honey Holes on a 20 Mile pond. With high water every Cove on Clearlake should be submerged by now.

We still have about 8 weeks before our event, looking at the weather,it is to stop raining for at least the next week,I’m thinking the conditions will be at least doable 🎣

The City of Clearlake has closed the Redbud boat ramp. Citing unsafe conditions due to high water.

OK, I just got off the phone with Lisa, she confirmed that the boat ramps over at red Bud Park are closed right now, for fear of the water that is rising damaging the boat docks, they have their own boat ramp on the campsite, she said the fees are included in the campsite price, and that her ramp is open right now, and rarely closes, she also is confident that the water will recede within the time we have to go up there, I just think we all need to keep positive thoughts about this trip, and hope for the best🎣

Hey buddy. Just got off the phone with my good friend who has a home right on the water at the north end of the lake. He said that the lake looks like and ocean rite now with four foot white caps. Waves are breaking over his eight foot break water wall. Highest water level that he has seen in over twenty years that he has been there! He Just got a text from the sheriffs office that all boating activities are now suspended on the lake due to hazardous conditions. I know we are a few months away from the M&G. But just wanted to give an update.

We'll be fine in May and if we're not then all of NorCal will be under water! Can't believe more rain is forecast for next week! Enough!!!

It's going to be like fishing a new lake compared to the last three years. I don't know if the bass are going to move into all the isolated cover that will be available? All my way points are now 10 ft deeper. Spawning grounds will be completely different.
I'll be starting from scratch!
