Sorry Dave my message was AFU. But you figured it out on spite of me. Well Done , dude.
Thank you man. Your advice made a big difference. When I read it I figured out what you meant. I was wondering what that button was for but didn't want to mess up a post trying to find out. Lol.

My son-in-law and I had a great day on the ice today. Same lake as last time, same spot. Couldn't catch a pike for nothin. BUT...I DID catch a bluegill over 11" long with a huge girth along with several 8 and 9 inchers. 20 keepers and about as many smaller ones. My son-in-law caught several bass around 18" as well. I can't explain why we didn't get pics of the bass. Lol.
That is one monster gill and a bunch of good eating.

Will do! Lol. Pretty sure I just got lucky. It looks like they stopped the master angler program. The only way to apply was online and they took the page down on January 10.
Dave I was able to find the page for master angler award. . Application comes up when I ‘clicked’ on it.
I couldn’t copy and paste link, but sent you a screen shot of link.

Thanks Scudrnr! I still can't believe how big it is.

I tried that address but it wasn't working so I did a search and found another that took me to the new page for applying. Thanks for the info. I planned on contacting them today about it but you just saved me some effort! The certificate has been applied for.
I could eat about a dozen now.
My mom if alive would kill for bluegills, and crappie

I'm not sure if they stopped it because I haven't heard anything. The fishing guide tells how to apply and says the last day to apply is January 10. After that the page will be removed. I tried to go to the page anyway thinking they meant the 10th was the last day to apply for the 2022 season. Nope. The page is gone and there is no other way to apply as of right now. Imagine how I feel knowing I missed out by only 12 days! Oh well. It's not about the certificate. The mount is much more important to me. I think you might be right about those pike. Lol. I think maybe they were eating the little ones we were letting go.
I'm not sure if they stopped it because I haven't ... (

I feel your disappointment Dave, to be so close, what a bummer. The registration completes the experience and it is lasting for generations. The universe has a way of correcting, stay ready for your turn bro. Tight Lines!
Dave...although it has been stated already...you scooped up a DANDY batch of bluegills there. Just for grins, I snapped the attached photo in my local supermarket a few days ago with respect to the "financial" value of bluegill.
Notice on the package label that the vacuum sealed bag contains farm raised 'gills from China. I would much rather dine on fresh caught fish from a quality water resource like you did! Well done!
"No thank you" on farm raised bluegills from China. Give me fresh caught fish from the wild any day!

WOW! I saw gills @ $150 for 5.5 lbs online. Farm raised fish spend a lot of their raising feeding on pellets. Doesn't have the same taste that sweet nature brings.

Wow Captain had I known I would've quit work ages ago and sold fresh frozen gill and retired with a big chunk of change. Ya got me thinking maybe there's still time any of you gill fishing folks out there want in? 🎣🇺🇸🤪👍
