What part of Lifetime Warranty do I not understand?

My plumber used mostly Delta, but also Kohler if a customer requested them or wanted a particular style that Delta didn’t have. I have Deltas in my house and have only replaced a couple of them in 36 years. They are less expensive than Kohler but we have been satisfied with them. I don’t really know how they compare to Moen, but I’m not a plumber. The plumbing contractor we used all the time, liked Delta, and we always got good service from them, so we just stuck with them.

I would take Delta over Kohler. Delta if I recall has a 2 year warranty. However it has been awhile since i installed one. Just 4 easy to replace parts when they start to drip. The cartridge is last resort to change, rarely the plastic bottom wears out unless you get some grit in the line and it scratches the face.

Moen 1 part on the single handle faucets in and out, done.

As a semi retired painter I get a kick out of companys saying that their paint has a lifetime warranty with a price tag to go with it. And the customer believes once is the only time you have paint your house

A buddy of mine (and I) each bought a pair of the Cabela’s name brand Intensity 12x50 HD binoculars a few years ago. They were very impressive, and for about $230, not too painful on the wallet. Mine are fine, but my buddy’s pair does not do the ONE THING they are supposed to do, focus!
We were told they had a no questions asked, lifetime warranty. That was good enough for me as they were about half the price of the Vortex model we compared them to. Boom…sold!

He noticed the issue as he was deer hunting, of course!
Tom called Customer Service and was told this is a wear part, therefore NOT covered. CS told him if it was a manufacturer defect or a design flaw they would be covered. In my opinion, if a single-purpose item such as a spotting scope or set of binoculars does not perform…I believe it is certainly one or the other and Cabela’s should stand behind them. I advised him to not accept their response and to take it to the next level. Am I wrong?

Definitely keep at it. Probably got a rep that didn't know what they were talking about. I am still fighting a rug I bought and was delivered that the design is so shoddy, looks like a kids fingerpaint. Nothing like the detail online. They're trying to make me pay to send it back and I am threatening Better Business Bureau. I even took pics to the Safavieh Store and the guy said it's not the same rug. I believe we will both succeed in right prevailing!

The binocular issue has been resolved, thanks!
Good luck with your rug!

WOW, that would make it quick and easy! 90% of what we used were single handle, and so are mine in our house.
The only ones I have that are two-handle are in my garage, where I have an big OLD cast iron sink with O/S hose faucets, where I clean fish, and in my shop, where I have an old kitchen base cabinet, with a large single-bowl stainless sink. It’s in my
“paint room”, where I also have a toilet and small 36” shower. Myrna and I lived in my shop while we were building our house. You may have heard me tell this story: We originally were planning on living in the shop and building the house, over a period of time as we could afford. Well…. that all changed one day when the dishes on the adjacent cabinet fell in the toilet!! We (Myrna) decided “in a New York minute”, we were getting a loan so we could get the house built ASAP! And we did -
other than a brief “time out” for my cancer surgery and recovery. I guess it turned out to be for the best, since we found out Myrna was pregnant with our first baby, the same week I found out I had cancer!
As we know: All things work together for good..

That’s funny, Henry. I am a retired General Contractor that built several houses, but mainly did remodeling; both residential and commercial. I once saw a contractor’s sign in the front yard of a house they were painting. It said “TWO YEAR PAINT WARRANTY”. My first thought was - if that’s as long as I could guarantee a paint job, I sure wouldn’t advertise it! Here in Kansas, we typically will get 7+ years on an exterior paint job. That’s also about how often I paint my own house. Even then, it’s not peeling - just dull and faded in places. What brand of paint do you recommend? I’ve always had good success with “Porter’s” for exterior and “Benjamin Moore” interior paint. The “prep work” is always still the key to a good job, even when using quality paints, as I’m sure you would attest.

The rug issue was just resolved by email. They are sending UPS to pick it up tomorrow. Yay!

Awesome K. I figured someone was thinking it was a wool rug and they assumed they could pull it over your eyes. They don't know you too well. I am glad you stuck to your guns and they did what needed to happen.

Man I am glad that modern dishwashing machines do not resemble toilets.

It was not a bit funny to Myrna, at the time!
Another thing that happened when Myrna was 6 months “along” and we were about ready to move into the house, my plumber told us our kitchen sink (3-
bowl porcelain) had not arrived yet and it would be another week before he got it. Myrna had an appointment with her OBGYN that day and was nearly in tears when she found out! As it turned out, the sink came in like the next day, and he installed it immediately! We moved in on Dec. 1st, and on March 12th our daughter arrived. Her and SIL have now given us SIX grandkids! 👍

Sounds like you were due for something to go right after the dish pre soak feature. So, just how many times did you wash what didn't break?
