When the Bolt decision was made tribal members depended on the resources for subsistence and income. In today's world those tribes now have casinos that generate massive profits that provide guaranteed monthly income for all members. Each family member receives a livable income amount that exceeds what most non tribal families with two income earners make. They no longer need to fish to exist but in many cases do so just to prevent sport fishermen from having the opportunity. Times have changed the rules have not. Tribes should be held accountable for their actions just as non tribal people have and continue to be for what took place hundreds of years ago that people in today's society would never consider doing and much less allow. Unfortunate and a shame.

Yes the politicians gave them a big carve out free when it came to the casinos of course the tribes have given them millions of dollars in campaign contributions to get the sole right to operate casinos in our state with out having to pay any taxes or have any competition. it is just another example of the corruption in politics.
