After my 5 years in kindergarten and 5 in 1st grade I decided to jump right into 2 grade. By then I was much bigger than the others in class so she took the yardstick to me and only used the little ruler on any others. Her philosophy was beat the devil out of one end to make angels of the other end. 😝😝😝

With her philosophy that makes you living proof of a philosophical event in history all because of the nuns.

And according to Webster, that says you are devoted to the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence:

Pleasure to be an acquaintance Hunt.

One of my favorite quotes. As a basketball coaches son I’ve heard that one my whole life. Coach Wooden was as good a coach as there ever has or will be.

None better. Had a chance to chat with him on several occasions as his grandson played H.S. basketball with my son.
Truly a great man.

When the boys had a game, he would sneak into the gym after it started. And he would leave before the game ended unless it was a close one. I asked him why he did that, and he said he didn't want to take anything away from the kids. He honestly did not want any attention on him. He was truly a great man and philosopher. If you like reading, pick up a copy of "They call me coach". Besides the good book, it was my bible on how to live life.

I think I read it in high school and I’m going to get a copy and read it again. I only vaguely remember it.

Who among us remembers those training wheels coming off?

Or that parent nearly running along our side helping us keep our balance?

Well safe to say we all have been on our own for quite some time.

Shaky as it may seem, let’s keep moving forward.

Plumb -Thanks for sharing. Sent poster to my oldest son (47) he’s a cyclist. Rides all over. Few yrs ago he and another rode their bikes from Pittsburgh,Pa to Washington DC. spent couple days there and took a train back to Pittsburgh and drove home to Buffalo, NY. Anyway he replied and liked the poster.
Again thanks for sharing. 🌴😎🌴

Thank a parent today for making you feel safe.
