I’m Semi retired, I live on the coastal bend in Texas. I mostly kayak fish the local bays for redfish, trout, flounder, and drum. I also fish offshore for snapper, cobia , Wahoo, and Tuna. I fish lures mostly but at times will use live bait.
When the weather warms up my wife will be out with me in her kayak. I like to wade fish and drift fish. Fishing has been good so far this year by being patient and working the lures slowly thru the water column.

Good afternoon flyguy
Everything is great up here. I’m not sure what you mean by the “pike”

My wife and I have lived here going on 35 years. The fishing here is awesome at times. We’ll probably sell out soon because the summers are absolutely nuts. Most of the old timers have past or moved out.
This time of the year is very good time, not too loud or crowded. I’m loading the kayak right now and will be wade fishing this afternoon.
Good fishing to you
