Do i fill the spool to the same level as mono or floro

You can use a backing of mono if you like but yes fill to about an 1/8" from the edge of the spool

Braid ready spools have a rubber band inserted into the arbor of the spool itself. This allows you to tie the braid directly onto the rubber band. Tying the braid directly to the rubber band will allow you to have a good hold on the fish you fight.

The leader's on the other end of the line DangeršŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ˜€šŸ‘I'm confused now

Different ends of the line Henry. On the end at the spool, if reel is braid ready, there is a little rubber piece to tie the braided line to to spool your reelā€¦the leader is , wellā€¦you know what the leader is.

Iā€™ve been fishing for over 50 years and have never used braid (except on old cane poles as a kid). Does it work on spinning reels? Pros/cons. Does it backlash as much as i see it on casters? Thanks in advance for any answers

I started using it last year improved my casting range by a lot

Braid on bait casters must have backing or it will get looser on the spool and birds nest.

Power Pro is I believe the cheaper. And you can buy both in Wal-Mart

I too converted. Took off the 6 and put 10# braid, with no memory, the braid will spool up any way you want. With my little 1000 reel, thinking of putting the smallest line I can, that might be 6# which will be thinner than a blond hair divided by three.

My local guide in FL recommended Seagar 20# inshore fluoro for a leader. It is reasonably priced for a 100 yd spool. Holds up well to abrasion.

For a given strength, braid is a LOT thinner. Unless you've got really good vision, don't go too light on your braid or else you'll go blind trying to tie knots! It gets hard to see.

Also, I've seen in previous discussions that very light braid can 'nest' as it's wrapped on the spool: as you wind it, the line can work down between previous wraps that are already on the spool and make casting difficult.

I use braid for both fresh and saltwater surf fishingā€¦both power pro and suffix 832ā€¦12# on the freshwater and 30/40# on the surf rods with shock leaderā€¦..my salt water conventional reels I stick with mono because if you get a birds nest itā€™s not easy to untangle!!
Gotta watch the knots as some of the classics wonā€™t holdā€¦.also on casting heavier tackle, Iā€™d recommend some tape on your line release finger..the braid can cut youā€¦in the surf can be 4-6oz sinkersā€¦fresh water liter loads not an issueā€¦braid is a lot harder to cut as wellā€¦the old finger nail clipper not so good!! I use fiscar sowing thread scissors..Walmart ~ $5.00

Fire line is not braid itā€™s fused into smooth single strand and it doesnā€™t go phweet thru guides like braid does also does not pick up small abrasive particles like braid
