Here is the Free permit that was done the following day

These are the two states mentioned. They are NOT some fake websites that may show up on a a google search. State of Oregon has NEVER charged for road kill permit. It is right on the State of Oregon website what the date is when it became legal. Ever heard the term backpedaling? If a State of Idaho Fish and Wildlife office was notified they probably filled out the permit for whoever ( the one person) thinks permits are not required. The Idaho law is the same as when they began the new practice just as Oregon started in 2019. No changes. No fantasies and definitely nothing like explained. I’m fine when negative facts are shared. I remember someone claiming recently to avoid negative people. So go ahead say all the hypocritical things about Oregon you want. But seems pretty hypocritical to say avoid negative people when claiming negative things about a place. It would be one thing if it was factual.

Once in a while we just have to stand back in awe of government.

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture,
is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food
stamps ever - to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Dept.
of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals."

Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow
dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

This ends today's lesson in irony.

Is there a purpose of quoting someone and leaving the window blank? Is it just more of your wicked ways? Just really curious you been doing it for awhile.

Is it entertaining to you?

Is it entertaining to your supporters that enjoy when you harass others as you already posted ( my buddies and I are entertained by you) ?

What is the point of it?

I have seen people that have accidentally done it but then they explain it was not meant to happen by them.

Do you have an explanation or should I just chock it up to more hypocritical stuff like saying avoid negative people but constantly complain about other places?

When someone googles Fishingstage this is the REAL website that they go to.

You have to fill out paperwork online to take roadkill in WA. Evidently your not supposed to dispatch the animal. I did for a lady that hit a deer. When I called to report it, I was told to give it to someone else. The reason may have been, because it was during hunting season. I gave it to another hunter that stopped.

The young guys offered to pay me, give me some of the Elk, but I didn’t take them up there offer. I’ve had hunters give up their hunt to help me drag a deer out of the woods. I considered this paying it forward. Ironically they and I were headed out to go deer hunting, as it was the last day of modern. I think they came out ahead😁

I think it’s great you helped them with use if tractor. Really the right thing to do. 👍🏻

Texas, of course, has a different law:

A deer has been hit on the highway, what do I do?

A1: If the deer is just injured call your local game warden dispatcher. If you are absolutely sure the deer is dead, you may move it off the roadway and leave it there. Texas Department of Transportation will remove the dead animal. It is illegal to tag the deer (or any game animal for that matter) and take it with you.

Years ago, I saw a lady standing on the roadway and she had hit a doe whitetail which was still alive, but dying. I turned around to see if I could help the lady. Her car was badly damaged. No cell phones back then. I took her to a nearby gas station to call her husband then we went back to wait on him. A cop showed up and called the game wardens office. Pretty soon the game warden arrived. I told him I was going to cut her throat to put her out her misery but she had died while we were gone. He told me it’s a good thing I didn’t because I would have been fined for talking a deer out of season. He didn’t stutter when he said it either. I think that sucks.

Pretty much same exact laws here until 2019 that’s why I posted the real laws. A friend hit an Elk and it totaled his Buick car. He hadn’t been able to Elk hunt that year and drove the car 1/2 block up hill with head out his drivers window to a person he knew.

The person he knew let him park the totaled car. Headlights grill windshield. Drivers side Pilar etc. bent.

They drove the 1/2 block back into the downhill road. As they arrived a Deputy Sheriff was shooting the cow Elk. Then Matt said I really want to go clean this Elk. The Sheriff said NO WAY. Matt continued to argue. Saying my car is totaled etc.

The Sheriff said you better get it out of here quickly and I was NOT here. Hurry before my buddies come through here on their way back to our office.

Taking Deer and Elk and Antelope were illegal in Oregon until 2019. Free permits are done online within 24 hours. Just as I posted earlier. No fee not done before etc. Idaho is very similar and was the beginning of the trend here In the western US. All the information is available Online. On REAL websites of each state. You can probably check all states in US. Use Yahoo if you think Googled sites are fake.

Jeremy, they had planned to find a dirt road and pull the Elk, back out of the truck to take care of it. I thought there is no way there going to get that animal out and back in their truck. I was only 7 miles from where it was hit. I’ve gotten a number of Elk in the past and skinned quite a few with my hunting partners. You kinda know when someone is a little novice. Another hunter stopped to help them and he had a bull tag that started that morning, I invited him to hunt out of my property, my fence line accesses 50,000 acres of DNR forest. Doing good has a way of working out.

I see the laws were changed there in 2019. I left there in May of 2018. Things were different when I was there. It’s good not to have to waste all the game there anymore. 👍

I agree wholeheartedly. Nice tractor and nice way of sharing it. To be honest I have had some really neat things happen in my life. Sometimes I wonder if it is from when I help someone that I could of just ignored and went on with my day.

I have gotten off an exit before. Then driving up it thinking what in the world am I doing here. I needed to drive 10 more miles. Well at the stop sign there is a person that needed a jumpstart. I had cables I had the know how etc.

Other times a lady is crying has a flat tire and is scared beepless. I changed the tire. On freeway. Elder lady has a flat still driving. I get her attention.. pulled over plugged the nail hole inflated her tire it’s 108f she cried as we were leaving because someone was kind and she could continue driving.

Sometimes I’m hesitant and spooked a bit anymore in those Same scenarios but I wonder if some of those acts are why somethings have happened that I just was in awe in my life.

Good on you buddy… good on you.
