Saw him in '65. Mamie Van Doren and Joey Heatherton were the female attractions. Good show, very scripted, all had to wear fatigues. Asked everyone to sing 'Silent Night' at the end saying they tape it and will show it back home.

Just thinking my older sister could have done that and she could play the piano and sing pretty well. Course she wasn't blonde. Mamie wasn't either probably.

Mamie is still kickin. She's 89 or 90. Joey is too. She's 77.

Mamie stood on the stage being ogled by Hope and a couple of thousand guys. Her main job was to keep her ample voluptuness inside her skimpy evening type gown.
