I haven’t fished in the rain that much. That is to say I usually only fish in the rain when it catches up to me. My experience has been that unless it’s a squall, it doesn’t turn off the bite. In fact the biggest redfish I ever caught was when I was anchored by a dock on the outgoing tide in the rain. We were far from home when the rain caught us. Knowing we were going to get wet anyway we continued to fish. My friend and I both teased a red from under that dock. 😎
