us fishermen (and women) !

You can download apps for that but I hear ya. A $1000.00 phone should come with it already on there plus an electric fillet knife.

Good thought Wulffy and good follow-up Plum. I am at OBX now with my best friend of 60+ years. It is an amazing friendship which I cherish. We have and always will be there for each other at any time and for any reason. I truly wish that everyone was able to have that in their lives

I have that and hope everyone else does too. It’s a great feeling not having to beg people to take you fishing or anything else. I’ve had real losers invite themselves along on a fishing trip because nobody else will take them. It’s rather sad they have to resort to just inviting themselves along and think that’s ok. There’s a reason people don’t offer to take them. To have a good friend you must, first, be a good friend. Good for you guys. That means you think alike and don’t expect anything from each other outside of friendship. 👍

Great thought, Wulffy.
I am so blessed to have all you folks on FS, and consider y’all my friends. 😊

I really hope that someday we can arrange the meet & greet and that everyone is healthy enough and able to attend. It would make for an interesting weekend(at least), for sure! So many nice, helpful people involved in this “community”

We haven’t given up on the M&G yet - just “on hold” to see how this new Covid thing turns out this fall. We WILL have it eventually, but gotta be safe for all of us.

Good plan. Better to be safe than sorry for sure. It will all blow over some day I’m sure and we will have more good stories to share by then as well. Well many of you. I need to get busy fishin or I’ll just be a listener there. lol. The covid ordeal has ruined my fishing career for retirement so I’m not sure that’s ever gonna happen again. It’s all in Washington and Oregon. The major part anyway so there ya go. The top angler in the program has less than 1/3 the number of fish he normally has by this time of the season. Not good. He’s not coming back next year like many of the top guys. Just not worth the hassle for us any more. When $100,000.00 drops to $30,000.00 for the number one angler the rest of us are looking at barely making expenses so time for something different. The positive thing is I’m freed up to go to the M&G when it happens. I was bummed when I thought I couldn’t make it. It’s gonna be great to finally meet all the avatars. I’ve met several and have gained some good friends from the stage. I can only imagine there are many more just like the ones I’ve met so far. Great group of gals and guys.

You betcha!! I’m as anxious as anyone, but being kinda “in charge”, I feel responsible to try and keep everybody safe and well. I pray all the time that God will “heal our land” and hope that y’all will join me in that prayer.

Good one Wullfy. I lost my 2 BFF's over the last 5 years and now i have come to realize that here on the stage there are numerous BFF's.

Guys and Gals on here have gotten me through some not so good days and in better times have shared laughs that only a few get it. It was once said that " the only shame here is that we all don't live in the same area " .

But yet it has been so good to know that many can go nearly anywhere in this country and know they have a friend in this great land. For that i cherish my FS friends.

In the world away from the stage i try to treat my friends, acquaintances, and neighbors like they are my next of kin.

One never knows when one will be in need.

Fried pickles are to die for as the saying goes. I can imagine their prices are as bad as any other restaurant, but heck it's not like you get the chance to go very often.

Sooo glad your at the helm but please don’t feel responsible. We’re all adults, or most of us, and capable of making that call. Sorry CDB. If you’re an adult now I retract that last statement. 😂

Are you kidding me ?!? Got curious
enough to look up ' Dirty Dick's '
menu ! Their appetizers cost more than most seafood meals I've had
(including several beers) - just
reading the menu damn near
gave me a coronary, and I've never
had heart problems ! I'd have to hit
a major lottery jackpot before
I could even consider walking
into the place ! - YIKES !
