I heard (did not see) that a 16 pounder was taken out of the backwater at Horn Pond in Woburn. Hasn't been documented yet in Mass.gov site.

Can you catch large mouth bass like this in Cleveland??? They sit at the bottom in amongst the lilypads and wait like assassins to strike at their next meal. There are fish in those lakes in Halifax, MA that are twice that size.

I'll be honest with everyone... I have NO RECOLLECTION of EVER catching a Bass, of ANY size (or species) IN Cleveland, Ohio... Now, if I were to drive 35 or so miles SE; there's a State Park, called Punderson. I've caught bass there, years ago; but, nothing approaching "a record breaker"!
¡That's a nice FISH, right there; maddog10e!

Early morning and dusk top water baits. and during the day slower deeper presentation look for shady cover the fish are hot also try smaller baits drop SHOTTING Texas rigged creature baits crawls the key is SLOWER IS BETTER also look for wind blown areas that push the small baitfish up in the shallows and of course the deeper cooler waters that have more oxygen lillypads and other vegetation that will increase the oxygen and allow the fish some shade from the sun GOOD LUCK JUST ENJOY✌😎👍

In my opinion, it's the best fisherie in the world. You should put it on your bucket list.
