We have 3 dogs. This one is Lord Vader. He belongs to my son but is my go everywhere, fishing, camping, iSupping travel buddy. He gets to go because of his good manners. We also have a young mastiff/boxer that Loves the water but he’s quite a handful! I wish he were half as well behaved as your CJ (love the name btw) so he could go to the lake more often.

My dog, R.O.S.E.Y., is definitely my fishing partner. She goes with me almost every time I go out. Loves the boat and is very well mannered while we fish. She watches the bobber on one line, while I cast lures with the other. She will just sit staring at the bobber till it takes off, then she starts “tap dancing” and I know to grab it. She’s only jumped out of the boat once, and that was when I caught a carp (about 5-6
lbs.) It was the only carp I’ve ever caught, and I think it scared her with its looks! She’s almost 10, and has been fishing with me most of her life. Great partner.

Good dog Randy. I'm getting my old glastron ready. When i get it out I'll find out if Chylo likes it. It has carpet so i think she'll do fine. Had her with me at credit union. Lady walked n said cute pup out there. I said thank you she's like my capital one card i never leave home without her. Can't beat a good dog 👍👍

This is Erin. Leans over the side everytime I start reeling one in. Likes to walk around the boat and show off HER catch. Loves the water.

This is CJ. She loads up in the Tahoe and goes to the lake with me. She has excellent lakeside manners. No barking, no biting, stays close, minds well and she is funny. C.J. is short for Calamity Jane. She us the State Dog of Texas. She is a Blue Lacy. 'Smoking' her corndog.

Cute and smart. Good doggie!

Thank you; she was a “rescue dog” we adopted when she was 6 weeks old. She learned, at the start, in the boat, so I think it was probably easier with her being a “captive audience”. Lol
Much less to distract her in the boat, than on the bank. Now when I’m bank fishing, she will sit at the edge of the water and stare at the bobber, unless a frog or a horse comes along. Then I have to sometimes tell her to stay. She minds very well, tho.

Rosey looks just like my dog Willy. Never had a dog before Willy but loved him to death. I had to put him down 2 years ago.

The shelter where we got ROSEY told us they thought she was a Rott./Lab mix. Her colors and markings are definitely like a Rottweiler, but her head size and shape is more like a Lab. She is very smart and has been a great pet and fishin’ partner. We’ll enjoy her as long as possible. It’s always hard at the end of their lives....

The shelter told us a German Sheppard mix. The electric fence person said he was a herding dog. We did a DNA test, he was Australian cattle dog and Dingo. Crazy.

Nice picture. We had a black lab that would go shore fishing with us. She would get very excited when I would reel in a fish--to the point of going in the water to help bring in the fish. I swear she thought the fish were for her!
