Thanks Fourchon. I gotta look up that reservoir. I didn’t realize it is that deep.

Pretty much what it is. They put a dam up where 2 gorges come together into one. So there's 2 different arms of the lake.

I looked it up and it shows the max depth when full is 150’. I guess I looked up the right lake. Here’s a picture.

Is that the correct picture Saw? It looks like a beautiful lake and the comments I read from visitors were all A+. I wish it wasn’t 1,000+ miles to get there. I’d give my left one to fish it.

Congrats Steve on a great day of fishing, and Treasure hunting! Good luck and be safe!

Yep, that's the lake but it's deeper than that. We can find water bout 200 feet deep right now and the lake is bout 100 feet down. It's droppin bout 6 inches a day. Bout 3 feet+ a week. There are some springs that feed the lake but it is mainly from rain runoff. Which we haven't had any rain in IDK how long. Bout 0 water commin in and they are letting water out to keep Dry Creek runnin for the salmon and steelhead. Not sure how long they're gonna keep doin that.
When I googled Lake Sonoma the site I looked on said the max depth when full is 319 feet.

Thanks Saw. I know you know what you’re talking. That 150’ depth came from Wikipedia. I’d sure love to fish in it but it’s far away from here. Hope y’all get some rain soon. With summer here, those wildfires can happen anywhere. Stay safe Brother.

I have a NICE collection of anchors. Lol.
I had 1 pic of me and a SM I caught.
I really just mainly take guys out and hope they catch fish. I don't worry bout me catchin fish. I go fishin so much that I catch plenty. It really makes my day if the guys I take out catch fish though.
That is a very nice thing you do for your friends.
Isn't winter approaching that area?
