Well we were going to just install some beadboard wainscoting and a new toilet and new paint. Lynny removed the toilet and lo and behold it’s been leaking for some time. The floor is rotten so now I have to demo the floor and rebuild it and then put a new tile floor in. Such is life.
That is the $hi1s, Dancer. I thought that was me looking down that $hi1 hole, I have a shirt like that and the same type of haircut. Believe me, I don't want to be there.

FD it looks like from what i can see the toilet flange is either flush or below the finished floor what's left off it.
I will assume you know that the bottom of the flange is to rest on the top of the finished floor. Otherwise thicker or double wax rigs are required which after seeing your floor don't always work.
Just did the same project over the Christmas Holiday. When you install the new Toilet they now make a ring that was foam and rubber has 3 different thickness of foam in the kit as to how your toilet matches the floor. It seemed to install much easier than the old wax rings. If I remember correctly it was around 10 bucks at Menards.

Oh man, that sucks! Pulled mine up a number of years ago and found a swarm of termites. Not fun! Good luck!

Thanks Ken. I’ve been using those for several years now for clients and I’ve never had one fail. 👍

Thanks and yes I knew that. I’ll make sure it’s done right. Or I should say Lynny will make sure it’s done right. Lol

We do have the same hair stylist. Are you sure you don’t want to come help?
Man, I hate those kind of surprises. Luckily you didn’t sit down on the stool to take care of business and fall through the floor…😜😂🤣🐟on
Lmao. Several years ago we were living in a 16’ trailer while building a new home and the floor around the toilet got so rotten we were afraid to use it for fear of falling into the black water tank. The minute the outside walls were up Lynny installed a toilet. I used to have a picture of her hugging the new toilet she was so excited to have real running water and a septic system.

Really nice looking shower Shutup. Very nice job 👍
Thanks, didn’t really like the 2x10 without staggered rows or herringbone but customers choice. He had a little corner shower there before. Made the corner shelves from diagonal cut marble tile glued together and polished edge
