That fish was caught in 2011 in Connecticut waters
Yes it was Gordon, Southwest Reef, just off Duck Island,Westbrook CT. My old stomping grounds. About 3 miles from where I kept my boats, Riverside Basin Marina, Hammonasset River, Clinton CT.
I don't why a REAL FISHERMAN would lie about the size of the fish they caught why Bullshit it is what it is and it's not going to get any bigger!! Just like you tell a woman that you been chasing for awhile all kinds of Bullshit about your past life and you were this and that and you were a SPECIAL OPTS in the military and that she doesn't know what she is missing because you are well endowed with 7" and finally you go out with her and have a good time and end up in bed and she starts Laughing and you ask her why is she laughing and she said why did you lie about your size of your private you said 7 and it looks more like 4" minnow!! He never seen her again SO DON'T LIE About Size of FISH you Caught because I don't CARE!!ππ€£π¦π
Iβm sure itβs not, but it would be easy to say βphotoshopβ

What is this post about Old fish don't taste good I know All that who is that post directed to? I just posted something that said good catch and how it felt to me catching 30 pounders this has nothing to do with what I was saying, but anyway FISH ON! FISH SAFE!!ππ―πππ
Chill out we were talking about releasing fish that size for breading purposes none of that was directed at you relax will you everyone is entitled to there opinions
This is no Photo shopped picture it is the REAL DEAL IT'S THE WORLDS RECORD STRIPER!! I Am just wondering how long it took to Land this BEAST??? GOOD JOB!! FISH ON!!π¦π―π₯π
It's ALL GOOD BRO! The Big Female Stripers produce thousands and thousands of EGGS so I recommend if anyone catches a Big Female or even Male it's probably in the best interest of FISHING TO RELEASE them it doesn't hurt to do this once in awhile , how often are you going to catch one in that weight class? I rather eat Stripers in the 5-20 pound range, well Good Fishing to you ALL!! RAIDERMAN!!!ππ¦π―π

Catch and release big old fish don't taste as good as the bare limit fish does and why would you lie about your catch they should take away your lisence to fish for life and see how you like it what a shame to keep a fish as magnificent as that even at 52lbs come huh people like that give fishing a bad rap and you know who you guys are!!!!!!
HG.... relax my man. This forum is about fish and the folks who love to catch them, the stories behind their passion (this can be a breeding ground for exaggeration) and the ones that got away. Enjoy, have a laugh and try to not give ammunition to the PETA FISH folk
Is it for real. ? Or super imposed
