What a fish. May even be a tackle record looking at the setups in the picture. Hope they released it as it has to be breeding stock.

Well gahahallleee (enunciated as if Gomer Pyle was speaking)! That is a monster. Hope they had a gaff hook to bring that one in to the boat! That thing is absolutely huge...no wonder it's a new record! Way to go out there!

I think he beat our guys'previous record by less than 1oz. I was under the impression that the IGFA required records be be broken by 2oz or more?

I had heard a big fish was caught in VA.last year,but never heard the official weight. We'll have to check with IGFA. Still a once in a lifetime fish though.
