Horrible story. She deserves a break and a breakup from this creep. Unemployment isn’t welfare, we pay for it. $47,000 a year unemployment? The average taxpayer pays $15,000 a year income tax. So if you worked at least 3 years you’re getting your own money back. Less time if you’re above average.....except they’re printing the money.
In Ireland it’s been a problem for a long time because young people make more on unemployment than working.

My attitude/solution can be rather harsh, especially when dealing with jack-holes like her 'ex', although it's more concerned with 'reckoning
and retribution' for the misery he's caused her and her family !
In this case, I'd say - 'Dirty deeds
done dirt cheap' !
I'm not saying she should join those worthless loafers riding the 'gravy train', except for the (very) short
term until she does find a job
paying a decent wage and is
able to extricate herself from
her current financial situation !
I only say this to prevent any
possible further suffering for
her kids, so that they don't
want for food or clothes !
The company who fired her
should be driven into bankruptcy
for blaming her and punishing her
for her 'exes' actions, as she was
the victim and blameless for his
activities ! All they did was to

along with her 'ex' ! They are

If she quits I don’t think she can collect. I’ll bet child care is probably more than, or just about as much as she’s making. That’s a tough call. I don’t believe in government aid for those who can work but sounds like it’s a wash for her to work and pay somebody to take care of the girls. If she has to. Not sure what I’d do in that situation. All I can tell you is I’d MUCH rather be paying her than some low life bum who is more than capable of working but would rather sit on their butt and play video games.
