When I was a young man I raised chicks to hens and sold eggs for eating and hatching

A bad egg will float in water a good egg will be mostly submerged and fresh eggs will last about 20 days even if just kept cool

¡¡AHHhhh! You mean to say: BEFORE you crack'em open, don't you? (I didn't TRY that).

This is true about how long eggs keep. They come in their own packaging from the original manufacturer.
We put them in the fridge and go by the date. Europeans laugh at us as they keep their eggs out in trays.
We run into trouble when condensation occurs going in and out of the fridge then start molding and we break through the shell along with those germs.

Well, Justoldjim; they were looking like a little yellow armada, as they were swirling in the toilet bowl; so... Reckon they're "headed in the right direction"!

The belly ache ain’t worth the two bucks the eggs are worth. Cooking could take care of it. But not for me.

Just curious, why did you flush them down the toilet versus just throwing them in the garbage 🤷‍♂️...🐟on

Dave, I live in a right cramped apartment on the 2nd floor, my legs have SURE seen better days... There ain't no elevator and I just didn't feel like climbing steps, I GUESS... I wanted to "gettem overboard", to where I KNOW that ain't nobody gonna care, if "they're stinky". I froze the MT shells, in a used Ziploc bag, to take to my former Landlady, for her garden.
